In a significant leadership shift, Gina Bartasi, the founder and executive chairman of Kindbody, has returned to her role as CEO to steer the company through its next phase of growth. Kindbody is known as a leading national fertility clinic network in the U.S. and global family-building benefits provider.
Kindbody was founded by Bartasi in late 2018, and has grown into the largest women-founded and women-led fertility company, offering comprehensive family-building and women’s healthcare benefits to 121 employers, covering over 3.1 million lives. The company, which operates a network of 35 clinics in the U.S., expects to deliver between $225 and $250 million in revenue for 2024 and has recently reached profitability after significant investments in new clinic locations and proprietary technology, according to a statement prepared by the company.
Bartasi’s return marks a transition from Annbeth Eschbach, who will continue to support as an Operating Partner. Alongside Bartasi’s return, Kindbody has promoted Gina Bruzzichesi to President and Haleigh Tebben to Chief Commercial Officer, bolstering the leadership team with seasoned executives.
Gina Bartasi’s initial vision for Kindbody was to revolutionize family-building care by making it more equitable and affordable. Having previously founded Progyny and FertilityAuthority, Bartasi is a respected leader in the fertility industry.
“I’m incredibly proud of our world-class team and the hard work and enthusiasm they’ve shown to build something industry-leading and game-changing,” Bartasi said. “Our mission has always been to prioritize patient care by reducing the friction and fragmentation in healthcare. I’m honored to return and continue leading our efforts.”
