We are looking for a hands-on, highly motivated individual to intern in our Business Operations/Strategy team this summer. You will be responsible for executing identified strategic initiatives aimed at improving our patient experience. In order to succeed in this role, you must have a highly analytical approach to problem-solving, be willing to dive deep into our operations and processes and propose creative ways of unlocking value. You will also be responsible for executing those initiatives, establishing tracking mechanisms and reporting regularly on progress. You should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with evolving responsibilities. Ideally, you have experience in consulting or financial advisory work, preferably in operationally complex industries. You regularly interact with senior leaders and are comfortable collaborating with them in finding solutions for their teams.

Key responsibilities:

    • Understand the specific project, identify milestones and deliverables
    • Work cross-functionally with engineering, pharmacy operations, customer service, marketing, and finance to develop, test and execute creative operational improvements; develop KPIs and execute
    • Articulately present and debate recommendations with senior leadership
    • Build strong, productive relationships with colleagues, partners, and vendors. Enforce and improve KPIs
    • Understand key metrics that drive patient loyalty and satisfaction; consistently measure and improve our company’s performance

Qualifications:

    • At least 3 years of work experience in investment banking, management consulting or complex operations at a technology company
    • Comfortable with data and large-scale analytics. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, as well as proven complex modeling experience, are required
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Proven ability to drive and manage simultaneous projects with urgency is desired
    • Exceptional oral and written communication skills & executive presence
    • Experience managing third-party vendors and partners is preferred
    • Passion for maximizing productivity while creating a delightful customer experience
    • BA / BS degree or higher with a strong academic record
