Maven is looking for an exceptional, experienced leader to join our Client Success Team. In this role, you will be leading our most tenured client success team members and working with complex large employers. Your team will spearhead our revenue retention by being the source of thought leadership, meaningful performance analytics, and strategies that drive success throughout each client’s life-cycle.  We are looking for someone who is top 20% in their field, with an insatiable appetite for success. Our business is fast-paced and we are defining a category, so you will need to excel in the ability to evangelize Maven’s voice with passion and credibility – across your team, clients, consultants and the market.

As Vice President, Client Success for the Strategic Market at Maven, you will: 

  • Bring exceptional leadership to our most experienced client success (account management) team members
  • Build the team, process and technology that positions Maven as a preferred partner across our largest clients; NPS goal of 90% or higher
  • Lean into your knowledge of the modern, global healthcare ecosystem to deepen your teams’ ability to anticipate client needs and build client-specific activation, engagement and communication strategies
  • Be the voice of our customers and the market within Maven; collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure our continued position as a category creator and vendor of choice
  • Effectively identify and solve for all barriers to Maven’s success; demonstrate excellent time management and use of accessible resources
  • Act with urgency, even when making difficult decisions
  • Use creativity and relentless persistence to expand Maven’s reach across clients
  • Use data effectively to forecast renewals, align resources and build account management strategy for the Strategic market
  • Act with credibility and humility, always positioning Maven for success
  • Be a thought and motivational leader across the Maven team

We’re looking for you to bring: 

  • 3+ years of experience in a client success (account management) leadership role
  • 7+ years managing HR clients, with no less than 3 of those years of working with HR leaders of companies with 20K employees or more
  • Exceptional client performance history (renewal rate, client satisfaction, etc) that can be confirmed through documentation and references who will validate record of success and leadership skills
  • Growth mindset that thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Demonstrated comfort with data; ability to interpret and discuss analytics with ease in conversations with individuals of varying levels of understanding
  • Proven network within the HR/employee benefits community
  • Insatiable appetite for success
