Junior biostatistician/statistical programmer
Please note that the contract is with the University of Zurich.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze complex large real-world clinical datasets for publications, marketing, product, and regulatory
• Prepare statistical analysis plans and reports for clinical study reports and health authority submissions
• Contribute to innovative clinical trials in women’s health
• Validate Ava’s in house developed algorithms
• Extract data from our database, process and clean the data, create variables and prepare datasets for
various analyses
• Develop an innovative data management process for Ava AG
• Contribute to scientific publications
About you:
• BSc or MSc degree in a quantitative field (statistics, data science, medical informatics or equivalent) with
strong statistics and clinical data management background
• Previous experience with longitudinal clinical studies and managing large datasets is a plus
• Solid knowledge in R and Python; other technical skills (e.g. mongoengine package) are a plus
• Both meticulous working style and ability to see the big picture
• Affinity for digital technology, innovative clinical study designs and programming languages
• Prior experience in women’s health, fertility and endocrinology are a plus
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus
• Willingness to work flexibly and independently, in an interdisciplinary and international environment
• Ability to work under pressure, in a dynamic start-up environment and meet challenging deadlines
• Swiss or EU/EFTA work permit.
