Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and implementation of the HCP marketing strategy and communication campaigns to
HCPs globally with a focus on Germany, UK and the USA
• Provide expert healthcare marketing knowledge and develop claims and compelling key messages together
with clinical, regulatory, data science and product management teams to continuously advance product lifecycle management
• Lead the HCP go-to-market strategies and related communication toolkits: manage the communication of
product launches from start to finish considering scientific inputs and stakeholder needs from local markets
• Build Ava’s brand overall based on data, ensuring consistency and alignment across teams, global markets,
media and various marketing channels
• Develop scientific communications to builds external relationships with recognized community and
academic healthcare Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
• Represent brand with HCPs during congresses and symposia and coordinate cross functional alignment with
local professional organizations, foundations and KOLs
• Build thorough understanding of global HCP marketplace and develop competitive intelligence that
becomes actionable business intelligence for Marketing, Product and Clinical teams
• Translate global customer research on Ava’s brand overall into actionable insight across the marketing and
sales team to determine the most effective marketing and communication strategies for individual markets
based on unique demographics and brand perception
About you:
• Passion about Ava, our community, and our mission to change women’s health
• Bachelor/Master’s degree in a life science, marketing or business; MBA, or advanced degree, preferred
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in marketing with at least 3 years’ experience in HCP and KOL marketing
management within the medical technology or pharmaceutical industry
• Experience working with the USA, Germany and UK markets is a must, experience in other European
markets is an advantage
• Experience in different lifecycles of brands – including ideation, launch and sales
• Thought leader in turning medical stories and claims into HCP and consumer centric concepts and
messaging to enable business initiatives
• Thought leader in building assets to drive connectivity with target consumers via HCPs and KOLs
• Combination of consumer centric business acumen and scientific savviness
• Successful track record of working in geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams
• Ability to present products and information to key high-level persons required
• Self-motivated and high energy level individual with the drive to take the initiative to research, make
decisions, follow through on and accomplish multiple tasks with a sense of vision, detail, commitment,
priority and urgency
• Experience working and thriving in a start-up or small company environment is an advantage
• Native German and proficiency in English
• EU or Swiss citizen, or valid Swiss work permit
