Modern Support for Today's Working Parents

Cleo is reinventing a multibillion dollar industry with a guided care marketplace that employers offer to working parents. Cleo combines an app with a global network of experts who specialize in topics such as sleep training, lactation, career coaching, childhood development, prenatal nutrition, and much more. Today Cleo is supporting companies like Slack, Uber, eBay, and Reddit, across the US and globally. We’re headquartered in San Francisco and recently raised our Series B round from NEA. We launched Cleo from the TechCrunch mainstage and have been sprinting ever since.
Cleo is growing and we are looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our growing People team. This vital team member will collaborate with all levels throughout the organization to provide a best in class employee experience. This role will report to the VP of People.

What you’ll be doing:

    • Support critical people programs such as onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and People systems management
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR questions
    • Handle offer letter creation and background checks
    • Keep track of and analyze HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates, headcount)
    • Proactively identify process inefficiencies and collaborate towards an improved and more productive process
    • Complete ad-hoc projects, reporting, and tasks

Qualifications:

    •  A minimum of 2+ years of People Operations experience with responsibility for onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and/or HRIS platforms
    • Knowledge of State/Federal employment law across the US
    • Ability to handle confidential data and maintain confidentiality
    • Capacity to multitask and work in a fast-paced and frequently changing environment, preferably at a technology company
    • A customer-service mindset with strong communication skills
    • Experience working within a startup environment and PEO strongly preferred
