We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Communications Manager to join our team. As Communications Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the communications strategy for Oshun Labs and its innovation projects, including the Sustainable FemTech Network. You will play a key role in promoting the company’s activities, achievements and thought leadership, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and relevant professional networks. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies to enhance the visibility and reputation of Oshun Labs and its innovation projects, including the Sustainable FemTech Network.
- Create and maintain compelling content, including newsletters, press releases, articles, blog posts, and social media updates, to highlight the initiatives and accomplishments of the Oshun Labs and the Sustainable FemTech Network.
- Manage the organisation’s digital presence, including websites, social media channels, and other online platforms, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
- Support the preparation of marketing materials, presentations, and reports to effectively communicate Oshun Lab’s achievements and value proposition.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including industry leaders, brand partners and academic institutions.
- Plan and coordinate events, workshops, and webinars to engage stakeholders and promote the initiatives of Oshun Labs and the Sustainable FemTech Network.
- Monitor media coverage, social media trends, and industry news related to FemTech, women’s health and sustainable innovation, identifying opportunities for strategic communications.
- Measure and analyse the impact of communications efforts through key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in communications and incorporate innovative ideas into the organization’s communication strategies.
This is a part-time role at 0.2FTE (1 day per week), with some flexibility in scheduling. The role is based out of our workspace in Camden, London.
Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience in communications or marketing, preferably in the context of women’s health or innovation-related projects.
- Proficient in communications strategies and tools, consistently achieving outstanding results through executing successful campaigns.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for different audiences and platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and content management systems.
Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and meet tight deadlines. - Creativity and a strong eye for detail in producing visually appealing and engaging content.
- Proficiency in data analysis and experience with using analytics tools to measure the success of communication efforts.
