Gaia’s mission begins with the world’s first IVF insurance product that predicts fertility outcomes and insures against the risk of failure, a major moment for modernising the family planning process. Underpinning our product is a proprietary predictive technology that adds a layer of certainty to an expensive, complicated, desperate, opaque but resolutely hopeful space.

We have raised $30million in funding to date, our A round at the end of 2021 was led by Atomico (read why here). We are FCA regulated, and trade on the Lloyd’s of London market as a cover holder of Beazley.
We exist so that anyone who wants to have a family can try. Our goal is to create 5,000 families by 2025. We are looking for passionate people who care about making a real impact on people’s lives.

About the role:

Context: Our Partnerships function covers all distribution channels, it is how we go-to-market. We sell our product direct to members (B2C) as well as B2B – via clinics and other partners such as insurers, employee benefits brokers and employers across the UK and the US.

We are looking for someone to lead our sales efforts for the Employer channel. Selling to the Employer goes hand-in-hand with building out one of our core Employee Benefits propositions, Gaia Egg Freezing. You will lead both sales and new product development for the Employer.

Your responsibilities will include:

1) Employer Sales:

Developing the strategy for who we target, when and how (with partners, or direct to employer)Identifying target buyers through in-depth research – delivering robust market segmentation of employers, brokers and consultantsEstablishing the pipeline and ongoing trackingAssessing and identifying relevant stakeholders to targetUsing creativity in outreach and persistence in setting up meetingsDeveloping Gaia’s value proposition, based on a deep understanding of individual partner needsDelivering detailed sales pitches including pricing and productResponding to ongoing due diligence questionsSupporting contracting and negotiationSupporting internal integrationProject managing through to go live

2) Employer New Products:

Egg Freezing

Understanding the market landscape for EB fertility preservation – competitors, market dynamics, pricing models, clinical efficacy etc.User research into fertility preservationUser testing with EmployersCollaborating with the Product and Design team to build out a solutionLaunching and iterating on Gaia Egg Freezing V1
