At Modern Fertility, we’re helping women own their fertility and their future by making fertility research and information more accessible. We’re looking for someone to join as the first member of our finance function, and be a key strategic partner to our team. You’ll play a critical role in building and maintaining our projections, helping identify areas for future growth, and bringing an additional analytical lens to the way we run the business.
Beyond just building the foundations of our finance team, this role will be involved in helping to identify, size, propose, and execute on new company products from a financial perspective. The ideal candidate will be able to drive data-driven business decisions, and develop financial models that will help us optimize our investments across all new product lines. You will be a thought partner to the organization and help lead projects from idea generation through execution with advanced scenario modeling and data analysis.
The Role:
- Support strategic planning, forecasting, and resource allocation across the business
- Build detailed financial forecast models to identify the likely impact of various strategic initiatives and understand key trends and performance indicators
- Drive strategic decision making by using data to continue to improve visibility into company performance and make recommendations on new products to pursue
- Help to continually standardize and improve reporting frameworks, systems, processes, and data governance to help Modern Fertility scale
- Work closely with our marketing team to track and project spend on customer acquisition and other key business metrics
- Partner with cross-functional teams across the business to identify areas of opportunity for the company
