Position Description
The (Senior) Manager, Operational Materials Procurement
- Ensures right time, right quality and right cost of respective service.
- Manages and challenges of Operational Materials Procurement incl. people and resources (e.g. budget planning).
- Contributes to target settings, aligned with other targets in Global Operations.
- Leads and initiates continuous improvement/ lean projects of higher complexity reaching across several departments in Global Operations, permanent process control.
- Delivers excellent compliance in scope of responsibilities.
- Independent assumption of entrepreneurial duties resulting from the connection between the activity exercised by the Employee and that agreed under the employment contract.
Position Requirements
- Extensive knowledge and/or skills in a subject area or broadened knowledge of multiple subject areas, that normally were acquired within the scope of university education.
- Examples of required degrees are Diploma, Master’s, 1st state examination or comparable qualification.
- Responsibility for subject areas or the leading of a small team. Additional qualifications such as knowledge of project management, IT certification, Six Sigma, or the like.
- Fluent in local language and English.
- Typically at least 5-8 years of relevant professional experience required.
