Description
As a DevOps Engineer at Progyny, you will be responsible for designing & building new as well as enhancing and maintaining our existing cloud infrastructure to support our workloads and the software development lifecycle of our Engineering team. You will work with a cross-functional team of DB, Software, and Salesforce engineers to enable rapid development, configuration management of the source code, and supporting testing, deployment, and production sustaining activities.
What you’ll do…
- Architect and build new workloads in AWS and other cloud providers as needed
- Follow, test, and refine our devops best practices
- Automate the deployment and support workloads across ec2, containers, serverless, and data ware-house processing centers
- Use industry standard tools for monitoring, centralized logging, and alerting to communicate the current and historic state of all production services to our internal stakeholders
- Test, enhance, and develop new IaC to continue our progress towards a robust, auditable, and scalable infrastructure
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing
About you…
- You are incredibly comfortable on the command line with 5+ years of shell scripting
- You have been working in AWS or another top quadrant cloud provider for 5+ years
- You have worked in a team with IaC code reviews, but you are capable of architecting, presenting, and executing with your own plans for at least 2 years
- Security minded, with at least 2+ years of experience in a compliance environment
