LOLA is looking for an experienced supply chain professional to manage the relationships and performance of our component suppliers and contract manufacturers. You will report to the VP of Operations and will work cross-functionally with the Product Development and Finance teams (among others) to ensure the timely production and payment of purchase orders, and supplier adherence to quality standards. You will also be responsible for driving improvements to our supply chain and operational strategies by developing plans to mitigate risk, supporting product launch timelines, enforcing contracts and driving continuous cost, quality, and service improvements as we scale.

What You’ll Be Known For

  • Developing and introducing processes to help improve supplier performance
  • Successful supplier onboarding
  • Strategic procurement to include:
    • driving cost negotiations and margin accountability based on cost targets
    • driving purchase to pay cycle accountability
    • tracking open Purchase Orders (PO) to confirm established completion dates & attend to vendor questions
  • Crisp management of production and WIP material to include:
    • manage and track production across a diverse suite of products to support new product launches and forecasted demand
    • manage all internal communication regarding production to cross-functional teams and senior management
    • ensure vendors adhere to production requirements outlined in the established contract agreement, Vendor Compliance Manual (VCOM), PO, and/or SOW
    • manage risk so that, should production issues arise, there are appropriate time buffers or contingency plans in place
  • Analytics and process improvement: Bring an analytical focus to our supply chain, including:
    • identifying, measuring, synthesizing, and reporting out metrics for vendor scorecards, consistently coming to the table with solutions on how to optimize further;
    • driving best-in-class standards and consistently developing homegrown or implementing third party business intelligence tools to more accurately measure optimization
  • Develop team policies, procedures and KPIs; be a change leader for continuous improvement.

Who You Are

  • Minimum B.A. degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier management (preferred 3 years working with international partners) or leading supply chain programs
  • Two to five years in an analytical, data-driven supply chain, physical product production management, and/or operations role
  • Experience creating, iterating, and improving end-to-end global component sourcing procurement and supply chain strategies
  • Experience with supply chain production modeling and other statistical analysis tools
  • Experience in manufacturing and manufacturer oversight
  • Experience managing multiple work streams in a fast-paced, challenging and rigorous environment with the ability to shift priorities to meet rapidly evolving business needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate and drive cross-functional consensus
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with external partners and grow with them
  • An eagerness to learn and tackle any issue that may arise
  • Experience working with a mass merchant retailer is a plus
