LOLA is seeking a hands-on, analytical and strategic Manager of FP&A team to join our growing NYC team. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will have the unique opportunity to build LOLA’s planning and forecasting function and provide analytical insights to support Executive team decisions.  You will balance multiple projects at once and partner with various operating groups. The ideal candidate is analytical, motivated, resourceful and eager to dive into the data.

What You’ll Be Known For 

  • Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, reporting, financial modeling & processes
  • Lead and execute month-end and quarter-end variance analysis and conduct monthly variance reviews and forecasting with Department leaders
  • Own long-range model and plans
  • Build board decks and other investor materials
  • Provide support to fundraising or related activities
  • Build relationship w/ leadership team and be a trusted thought partner for any new initiative, representing finance
  • Own KPI reporting across the organization
  • Trusted finance partner for all departments to work on activities such as pricing, product launches, channel expansion, marketing (acquisition/retention), partnerships, operational / supply chain projects, and the list goes on

Who You Are 

  • BA/BS in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics. MBA is a plus.
  • 4+ years experience in financial planning & analysis / corporate finance. Experience in investment banking is a plus. Experience with an ecommerce / direct to consumer brand a double plus
  • Analytical, critical and strategic mindset, always looking to deep dive into the figures and challenge the numbers. High attention to detail and accuracy of data and information
  • Extremely strong Excel and PowerPoint skills a non-negotiable, with experience to build models and slide decks with analysis and conclusions to senior leadership
  • Creativity to build structure around loosely defined projects and sense of ownership to see projects through to completion.
  • A solid understanding of accounting standards, financial statements, and modeling techniques
  • Ability to be flexible, multi-task, have strong organizational, project management, communication and leadership skills to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple projects
  • Knowledge of ERP (Netsuite) and data visualization / BI tools (Looker)
