You’ll work in our Berkeley, CA office on a team reading qualitative research survey responses about the insights people have had that improved their lives. You’ll identify the innovations, patterns and most practically useful insights that could help the larger population. Then you’ll work with a team to turn those patterns and insights into web content that will inspire our hundreds of thousands of people all over the world.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
– Qualitative research experience, taking large volumes of open-end qualitative responses and distilling insights.
– Analytical ability to see how ideas are connected to each other.
– Strong writing ability to concisely convey an idea so the reader really ‘gets it’ and enjoys the process.
– A kind of optimism and enjoyment in doing this kind of subjective puzzle-thinking. Some really get energized by this work and find it intoxicating.
– A tendency to suspend skepticism/disbelief… and focus on envisioning potential solutions, even if they’re not apparent at first.
– The ability to hone in on and pick out what other people would get excited about, not just what you get excited about… getting out of our personal bubbles and empathizing with ‘all the humans out there.
– Strong productivity – a self-directed ability to do all of the above on a schedule.
