The Quality & Safety Associate will focus on continuous clinical improvement initiatives and will report to the Quality & Safety Manager. The role of the Quality & Safety Associate is to provide day-to-day collection, coordination, and review of clinical data. The Quality & Safety Associate will also work closely with the Quality and Safety team on initiatives such as side effect management, medical alerting, and auditing of patient charts to identify, improve and monitor potential areas of concern that relate to patient safety and clinical quality. You will serve as a liaison to cross-functional team members and third-party partners to manage and report adverse events and patient safety initiatives. What You’ll Do:

- Review side effect cases reported to the Ro Care Team or Ro-affiliated providers and follow up with providers as needed to complete the case
- Respond to Medical Alerts when triggered (this includes chart review and provider outreach, as needed)
- Perform chart audits related to cautionary events and safety metrics on the Ro platform
- Coordinate and conduct the triage, prioritization, and follow-up of side effects
- Collect, report, and track adverse event information to cross-functional teams and third-party partners
- Monitor clinical patient health outcomes data and collaborate to scale health outcomes program
- Collaborate with Quality & Safety Managers to surface clinical patient safety concerns and support the implementation of platform solutions
What You’ll Bring to the Team:

- BSN or equivalent years of experience
- Current RN licensure
- 3-4 years experience as an RN
- 1-2 years in direct patient care (in person, telephonic or virtual)
- 1-2 years was spent on patient safety and adverse event management and reporting experience
- Experience using clinical background to identify potential concerns for patient safety and quality of care
- Experience using data to advance healthcare safety and delivery
- Attention to detail, highly organized, and can make sense of unorganized data and clinical information
- Adept at learning new technology and can thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
- Understand the principles of clinical risk management
