The Role:
Carrot Fertility is seeking a Product Content/UX writer to research, write, and edit different types of consumer-facing digital content for a global audience, such as articles on fertility topics or concise, easy-to-understand explanations of how a member’s benefit might be taxed in different countries. You’ll also:
- Consult stakeholders to ensure content’s accuracy and alignment with cross-functional goals.
- Align with other content creators to improve consistency across the member experience.
- Help identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in content ecosystems.
- Contribute to style guides and best practices, furthering a product voice that is clear, precise, inclusive, conversational, and inviting.
The Team:
As a part of the fast-moving product and design team, you’ll help UI designers and product managers develop and iterate on an early-stage product and service. You’ll report to the Content Strategist, providing input on key content decisions and advocating for member experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of research, writing, and editing experience in a professional, consumer-facing context.
- A portfolio that demonstrates not only polished mechanics and style but structural and project-level control.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excel in a fast-paced startup environment, building relationships with stakeholders while aligning on rapidly evolving projects.
- A talent for collaboration balanced by strong self-direction.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A deep understanding of UX writing and design.
- Insight into and experience with the challenges posed by writing for a global audience, as well as localization, translation, and language justice.
- Experience with design and content management tools such as Figma and Contentful.
