The Role:
Carrot is seeking a Product Marketing Manager, Health Plans who has a passion for all things healthcare. In this role, you will be our resident expert on how Carrot works with health plans, working with our health plans team on overall strategy, building messaging and programs that generate demand and accelerate revenue, and creating collateral to educate prospects. The role will report to Carrot’s Sr. Product Marketing Manager.
- Create and execute go-to-market plans to launch new products and achieve business goals
- Gather, analyze and share competitive and trend analysis to inform product and marketing roadmaps
- Develop new audience-specific positioning, messaging, and collateral for campaigns and product features
- Partner with the Health Plan team to provide actionable sales tools, training, and consultative engagement to serve the needs of the field (battlecards, whitepapers, presentations, etc.)
- Partner with the Events and Health Plan teams on in-person and virtual event experiences
- Identify new health plan product needs based on market research, package those insights, and promote them in a way that drives customer adoption
The Team:
This role will be part of Carrot’s Marketing team. Carrot’s Marketing team is responsible for sharing the Carrot story with the world, coordinating and producing all materials representing the business externally. The Marketing team builds and nurtures relationships with prospects, customers, Carrot members, and the community while creating a brand image that showcases the company in a positive light.
This role will also involve regular collaboration with the Product, Health Plan, Solutions Consultant, and Enablement teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in healthcare
- 2+ years of product marketing experience
- Ability to build strong partnerships and influence outcomes cross-functionally
- Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation, and verbal formats
- Comfort with the ambiguity inherent in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience with healthcare and benefits is strongly preferred
- Ability to blend marketing art and science to deliver impactful, data-driven results
