Twentyeight Health ( is a mission-driven women’s health startup founded by a team with experience at Bain, BCG, and the Gates Foundation. Our vision is to provide high quality, convenient and affordable reproductive & sexual healthcare with a focus on expanding access in underserved communities.

Starting with birth control, we’ve built an end-to-end platform to provide telemedicine consultations, prescriptions deliveries, ongoing care from clinicians, and free doctor-vetted sexual & reproductive care info. We are active in NY, NJ, PA, MD, FL and NC, and have exciting growth plans. We are rapidly expanding our offerings, and we are backed by some of the best healthcare & consumer investors pioneering digital health including Third Prime, Town Hall Ventures, SteelSky Ventures, GingerBread Capital, and more.

2. Role

As Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for building and executing strategic partnerships with health payers, providers, nonprofits and other relevant organizations.  You will play a leading role in identifying potential partners, building relationships, developing value propositions, creating & launching new partnerships. Your role will be central to our strategy and will provide plenty of opportunities to develop. You will also have the opportunity to build a team over time.

3. Manager

You will report directly to the CEO (Bruno Van Tuykom) and also engage with other key people in the company.

4. Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies per partner type (payer, provider, etc.)

  • Identify potential partners and do the outreach

  • Build relationships and navigate organizations

  • Lead engagement and discussions to build strategic partnerships

  • Design and launch new partnerships, including pilots when needed

  • Grow existing partnerships

  • Manage pipeline of partnerships

  • Track goals and identify insights & learnings

  • Work with other team members engaged with partnerships

  • Build & lead the Partnerships team over time

5. Requirements

We are looking for exceptional candidates who have:

  • 8-10 years of partnership / business development experience

  • Experience in the healthcare industry and with health payers and providers

  • Experience leading teams (preferred)
