We believe in a future where healthcare is more accessible. That’s why we work with specialised, self-motivated minds to develop home testing systems that combine diagnostics technology with medical knowledge and data. Currently, we are developing our medical hardware with embedded firmware to accompany our mobile app. That’s where you come in.

A little about your future role…

We offer a permanent, full-time position based in Vienna. You will:

  • Help us define our constantly evolving embedded system strategy
  • Work in a collaborative agile environment
  • Solve challenging problems using innovative solutions
  • Design, develop and maintain our embedded firmware using state of the art technologies (Linux, C++, Qt)
  • Testing of the embedded firmware in combination with the complete system
  • Proactively work on improving the embedded firmware and ensure high quality standards
  • Collaborate with external suppliers
  • 2-3 days per month travel outside of Austria required

A little about you…

Must have:

  • Master degree or higher qualification in computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering or electronics
  • 1+ years of professional experience with firmware programming (C++, Qt), firmware architectures (Linux on ARM)
  • Good understanding of software patterns and clean code principles
  • Well-organised with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • A positive and resilient attitude, even when encountering problems or when things go haywire
  • Comfortable working both independently and on a team, within a fast-paced and flexible startup environment
  • Comfortable with building your own structures and aligning them with company goals
  • Fluent in English

Nice to have:

  • German and/or other languages are advantageous
  • Experience in testing and automation
  • Experience with Software as a Medical Device
  • Experience with hardware development
  • Experience with development compliant to IEC62304
